Families will come into the forest on a timed ticket. When booking you choose a 15 minute entry slot.

This is to make sure that the forest doesn’t get too busy. Once inside, you can stay for as long as you like. There are three separate paths to walk inside the forest, each telling the story of an English fairy tale through theatrical performance, music, storytelling, creative writing and dance. There is also lots of lovely food and drink and a picnic area. We expect most families will spend between 3 and 4 hours in the forest.

Please note that your tickets will only be valid on the day and time slot that you choose.

Tickets on the day

Tickets will be available to buy on the day. Please note the following sold out time slots though. If you come at a busy time you will have to wait for an available time slot (in particular, try not to arrive between 11 and 12 on either day, as these are very busy times) Payment on the day is by cash or cheque only. Last entry is 12.45, to give you enough time to visit all the paths. The forest will close at 5pm.

The following time slots are SOLD OUT:  Saturday 19th May @ 11.00, 11.30 & 12.00, Sunday 20th May @ 11.00, 11.15, 11.30, 12.00 & 12.45
